The name Macmaps was created in 2000 as my freelance consulting consisted both of GIS and Macintosh support. I have since expanded to PC support and training as well as AutoCAD work. No knowledge of Macmap.com was known at the time of creation, and their website offers cartographic solutions for the Macintosh platform.
Macmaps.com is a directory of over 1000 internet links organized alphabetically by subject.
In addition it has numerous help pages for the Macintosh computing platform, and slideshows of recent voyages I took.

Website now linked to Macmaps Tech Support. Orders half hour intervals of phone or e-mail tech support. And visit self help pages on the website on a monthly subscription.
March, 2013: Apple Support links were migrated to the new format. Many of the original links had their original number kept on the text for the link in event one runs into older references on the web. A full listing of the updated links has been kept up on Apple Support Communities User Tip as time permits.
June 2010: Parallel Mac Search page dropped. The search engines that made it up no longer are compatible with frames based searching.
December 1, 2008: Due to conditions beyond my control, my 14 topic pages no longer work because they updated me to PHP 5.2.6. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please e-mail me.
November 7, 2007: At this point I won't be taking new links for this site for the forseeable future.
